We spent a night at The Simsbury Inn while attending a wedding and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Our room with one king was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short stay. The team there was warm and attentive. The breakfast the next morning was exceptional, served in a beautiful ballroom setting. From freshly made omelets and waffles to bacon, sausage, eggs, and plenty of coffee and tea, it was a perfect start to the day. An all-around excellent stay—I’d definitely choose this hotel again.

In January, 2026, My father and I stayed at the Simsbury Inn for 3 nights because we were in Ct for my dads brother’s memorial and we really enjoyed it. The Simsbury Inn was decorated very nicely and it was a beautiful, lively atmosphere. It was snowing a lot and it looked like a winter wonderland. The front desk staff, especially, Whitney, were super nice, friendly and helpful. Whitney really went out of her way to help us and make sure we had everything we needed. The cleaning staff and Inn caretakers, were also very nice and did an incredible job! The Inn passed my clean test and I am a retired house cleaner myself. It was easy to get to things from there too, 5mins-30mins. Don’t go through a third party like, Expedia, they don’t let you cancel, or change anything even if it’s right after making the reservations. It is best to go through the Inn directly. It is costly per night though and it would be great if they would give you a %off if you stay more than 2 nights and for going directly through them.

What a great place to stay! So much history to be found all around. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was one of the best we had on our month long trip! Great coffee too. The home is absolutely beautiful and mostly period correct. But being an old house it has its little things; a clogged drain, a bit of musty smell (not bad), no elevator. The stairway does have very good hand rails though. Our room had a full bath plus a small sink and mirror inside main room.

We had a wonderful stay! We went for a family wedding . (at another hotel) We stayed at the Simsbury Hotel for 3 nights. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on Thursday night which was great. We were entertained by a fabulous guitarist! Wedding events were elsewhere on Friday and Saturday. We also used the The Hotel exercise facilities and pool which were very good. The good news is that this family has 3 other daughters who will likely marry at some point. We would absolutely stay at the Simsbury Inn again!

I attended a wedding here outside in the back and it was very beautiful. Cocktail hour after it was set up very nicely and the had high quality hors d'oeuvres. The banquet hall was set up nicely and I had the prime rib which was one of the best I ever had, cooked perfect with a very tasty au jus. This would be a great place to have your wedding.

I booked a 3-night stay for my mother (and her dog) at the Simsbury Inn and was delighted to hear the staff treated her like a queen. They were kind, courteous and very responsive. Her pet-friendly room was nice and comfortable and the food was great. Beautiful lobby and dining area to enjoy morning coffee and meals. But the real standout was exceptional service from Whitney at the front desk. So thoughtful and helpful. I’ll book again soon!

My husband and I got married at The Simsbury Inn on 11/7/25. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue and working with Philip was so easy. He made the planning process feel so simple and was always quick to answer questions, as well as offer guidance. The venue itself was so pretty and created the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. Everything was set up perfectly. All the staff and everyone who helped make the day special were all so nice and helpful. A huge bonus was that many of the vendors we chose had worked with The Simsbury Inn before, which made the planning process so much easier. Everyone knew the space well, communicated seamlessly, and worked together effortlessly which helped the entire day run smoothly. Our favorite part of choosing The Simsbury Inn for our venue is that they also offered lodging so people could spend the night if they wanted to. We had several guests stay overnight at the inn and the rooms were wonderful. They were very nice, clean, and comfortable, which made it so convenient and enjoyable for everyone to relax and stay on-site after the celebration. Many of our guests commented on how much they loved the rooms and appreciated being able to spend the night. The bridal suite was also absolutely wonderful and such a perfect space to get ready in. I loved that there was also the Talcott Suite attached where were able to get ready. It made things so convenient. The bridal suite was spacious and comfortable which helped make it a calm and relaxing environment during a busy day. It truly added to the overall experience and made the morning of the wedding feel extra special. The next morning we also opted to have a breakfast for all the guests who spent the night and it was so lovely. It was the perfect way to wrap up the weekend and a great opportunity to spend more time with family and friends before heading home. I loved that all the events for the weekend could all be in one place because it was a lot less stressful not having to go to a bunch of different places. We felt so supported throughout the entire process and truly got to enjoy our wedding day with very little stress. We are so grateful to the team for helping make our day unforgettable and would highly recommend this venue to any couple planning their wedding or recommend The Simsbury Inn if you're just looking for somewhere to stay for a few nights.

Stayed one night at The Simsbury Inn for a wedding and had an excellent experience. We booked a double queen room—clean, fresh, and simple, perfect for what we needed. The staff was courteous and incredibly helpful, especially with our young kids, which made the stay even better. Breakfast in the ballroom was a highlight: custom omelets, coffee, tea, sausage, eggs, bacon, French toast, and a waffle bar—everything you could want to start the day right. A wonderful experience all around. Highly recommend!
